Holden and Johnson Architects is a California Corporation incorporated in 1981. It was
formed as a partnership by Richard C. Holden and
William Carl Johnson. They have worked together since 1970, gaining similar experience
in education at California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo. They then worked
for some of the desert area's finest architects as explained in this resume. The firm of
Holden and Johnson Architects has evolved over the years, growing to one of the largest
architectural firms in the desert in the 80's to today when we reexamine our original goals
of working with our clients personally, in the design and construction of their residence or
other architectural projects. We are currently offering our services to fewer clients, however we offer
those client's who chose to work with us a high quality of design and architectural insight.
The firm specializes in individual residences and personalized professional
office buildings. Our work has been published in national publications and we
have received professional awards for our work. Our homes reflect the open and
casual southwest lifestyle and our office projects reflect the personalities of the
businesses we design for. We have completed commissions in the Palm Springs area as
well as Las Vegas, San Antonio, Tucson, and Carlsbad. Houston and Seattle and completed
design work for estates in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our client list includes some of the
leaders in industry and well known personalities.
